How to Install Chrome DevTools Autosave

  1. Open chrome://flags/ and enable Experimental Extension APIs
  2. Restart the browser
  3. Install Chrome DevTools Autosave
  4. Install Node.js
  5. Open a terminal (Terminal.app on Mac OS X, cmd.exe on Windows)
  6. Run npm install -g autosave as “administrator”
  7. Run autosave in the terminal
  8. You should see something like “DevTools Autosave is running on http://127.0.0.1:9104
